Hello! I’m Kerstin Teller, a 42-year-old mother of two, originally from Hamburg, Germany, with Filipino roots. I moved to the U.S. in 2007 and am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Reiki Practitioner, who graduated with High Honors from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Los Angeles.

My journey into energy healing began nine years ago, when I was seeking support for my daughter’s sensory challenges and my own stress.

The experience was transformative, offering both physical relaxation and spiritual connection. This marked the beginning of a spiritual awakening that has helped me heal past traumas and continues to guide me toward deeper awareness and gratitude.

This personal healing journey guided and inspired me to study Reiki and Hypnosis, and today I’m committed to helping others heal and grow.

I serve as a channel for Reiki energy, supporting the balancing, clearing, and alignment of your chakras.

Healing always unfolds through your openness and with the Divine’s guidance — in the name of love and for your highest good.

I encourage clients to seek medical care for any serious conditions, as my services are complementary to medical treatments, not replacements.

I hold an Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) degree in Mind-Body Psychology and am certified in Hypnosis for Weight Loss, Smoking Cessation, Sports Performance, Anxiety, Past Life Regression, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Inner Child Healing, as well as Reiki Levels I & II.

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis, also called hypnotherapy, is a state of deep relaxation and focused concentration. It’s a type of mind-body medicine.
A trained and certified hypnotist or hypnotherapist guides you into this deep state of focus and relaxation with verbal cues, repetition and imagery. When you’re under hypnosis, this intense level of concentration and focus allows you to ignore ordinary distractions and be more open to guided suggestions to make changes to improve your health and general well-being.
How does Hypnosis work?

The state of hypnosis is achieved through a deep state of focus and relaxation.
Your conscious mind is quieted and you’re able to tap into your subconscious part of your brain where your thoughts, beliefs, perceptions, sensations, emotions, memory and behaviors originate.
In this state, you’re more open to gentle guidance from your hypnotherapist to help you modify or replace the unconscious thoughts that are driving your current behavior.
How do people describe the Hypnotic experience?

People describe hypnosis in different ways. You may feel like you’re “zoned in” or in a trance-like state — so focused that you’re able to block out surrounding distractions. Have you ever been so focused on a TV show or so entrenched in a good book that you don’t hear your family talking around you or even your dog barking? This experience is somewhat similar to how you might feel while hypnotized. Many people say they feel calm and relaxed despite their increased concentration. Most describe it as a pleasant experience.
How effective is Hypnosis?

Each hypnotherapy journey is unique, but on average, these are the numbers based on research:

Hypnotherapy: ~93% recovery after ~6 sessions

Behavior Therapy (CBT): ~72% recovery after ~22 sessions

Psychoanalysis: ~38% recovery after ~600 sessions

How many Hypnosis Sessions should I book?

The ideal number of hypnosis sessions depends on your unique circumstances, your specific goals, and the issues you're addressing, and how deep the changes or transformations need to be.
However, here's a general guideline:

For Minor Issues (e.g., stress, relaxation, minor habit changes): 1 to 3 sessions.

For Moderate Issues (e.g., anxiety, weight loss, confidence building): 3 to 6 sessions.

For Deeper or Chronic Issues (e.g., trauma, phobias, long-term habits): 6 to 10 sessions.

For Personal Development or Transformation:
10+ sessions.
Is Hypnotherapy inappropriate for some people or in certain situations?

Hypnosis may not be appropriate for people with severe mental health issues, such as psychotic symptoms, including hallucinations and delusions. It might also be inappropriate for someone who uses drugs or alcohol. The use of hypnosis for memory retrieval is largely unsupported by research. Caution is also advised regarding its use in managing stressful events from early life. The use of hypnosis in these situations may create false memories, especially if unintended suggestions are given, and could cause more distress and anxiety.
What Happens During a Reiki Session?

You lie on a table fully clothed for up to an hour. You will hear peaceful sounds of your choice to create a relaxing atmosphere.
As you begin to receive the blessing of Reiki you might become so relaxed that you fall asleep. During treatment, you might be able to feel energy being unblocked. Some people even experience a warm, glowing energy whereas other people simply have an overall feeling of relaxation.
Who can receive Reiki treatment?

Anyone can receive Reiki treatment, adults, children and even pets.
How does Distance Reiki work?

This is known as remote healing or distance healing. Sessions are run in exactly the same way, except they're over video. Typically, you'll lie down at home and set up a video camera on your phone or laptop, so you can see and hear and vice versa.
Distance Reiki can also be done while you sleep at night.
Is Reiki safe?

Yes! There is nothing about a Reiki session that can interfere with conventional medical care. Reiki has no known contraindications and can be used concurrently with any medical intervention. The touch of Reiki is very light on or even off the body.
Is Reiki Part of a Religion?

No, Reiki does not come from any religion nor is it a religious practice. However, it does aim to help you spiritually as well as physically, mentally, and emotionally. You do not need to belong to any specific church to benefit from the positive healing benefits of Reiki. Reiki can help you spiritually by connecting you with your inner-self and the Divine, which can help guide through life and give you clarity when faced with challenges or decisions.
